Translucid was the global trend topic for Automotive Color Trends 2017-18. The signals for this book, designed and photographed by Raum Mannheim, introduce a new perception of a “collective body“ in the age of digitalisation and follow the developments of “fluid grids“ in our society. All images and scenes shown in this book were photographed in our studio.

Apart from building the sets we individualised each and every book with a range of selected and newly developed lacquers. Being directly applied to the cover, giving a personalised appearance and haptic to each unit.
