⟶ QOS built one of the biggest closed-shell stainless steel spheres for Leica in Wetzlar. Located in front of the headquarters on a roundabout, this sphere has a diameter of five metres and hundreds of smaller circular rounds to mimic the shape of the continents. The location of the company was painted red on one of the circular rounds, in which the red dot also a represents their iconic logo. The whole sphere was built in our studio facility and assembled on the spot due to its massive size. Adjustments and finishing was also done on location, as this piece was sand blasted after installation to avoid any sun reflections.
